On June 15, 2020, Masahiro Fujiwara, President of the FWEAP and Satoshi Nagasaka, Chairman of the International Social Service Japan (ISSJ) signed a financial assistance contract of 1,300,000 yen.
This will support the food aid provided by ISSJ for the relief of refugee settlers who are financially in need due to the spread of the new corona disease.
With this financial support, rice and vegetables will be distributed free of charge to 100 people in 50 households of the Muslim refugees settled in Tatebayashi, Gunma Prefecture who have been furloughed or have been told to stay home, and their incomes stalled. The children of lower grades will receive halal snacks.
