On the morning of Sunday June 14th, an emergency food delivery ceremony was held in the square in front of the assembly room at the Catholic Isesaki Church by the voluntary organization “Vietnamese community attached to the Catholic Isesaki Church” approved by the FWEAP for the Vietnamese families in need.
Prior to the hand-over ceremony, an assortment of food bags was made by Chairman Asakuradaira, Nguyen V. Lee, and other volunteer members of the community, and it was distributed to a total of 39 Vietnamese people in need (two of whom live in Yamagata Prefecture).
